Ive owned this very clean and rare car for the past 10 years. LSX swap was done because i got tired of messing with unreliable rotary engines. The car is very light weighing in just under 2900 lbs with motor and trans. It feels and behaves like a stock RX-7 with more power and responsiveness then a corvette. If you are looking for a car to beat up on your friends Corvettes Porsche's or Ferrari's etc. then this is the car for you. All the gauges work. Handling is absolutely superb! The thing absolutely rides rails.

I have every receipt and all documentation (including wiring diagrams etc.) for the car and the build. It takes up a 3in 3 ring binder. I also have the Mazda factory service manual for this car. It has spent its entire life here in Springfield MO. It was purchased here at the local mazda dealer by a lady in 1993 who later sold it to anther lady here in Springfield in 1997. I purchased the car in stock form from the previous lady in 2004 and have owned it ever since. The car is in amazing shape inside and out and has never been in any accidents. Everything works on it except AC as it would need custom AC suction and discharge lines made. I do have the GM AC pump off the car. The digital odometer dash display works on and off depending on the weather/temp outside. When it does work, it show ~80k miles on the clock. Its a bad capacitor on the back side of the display. Fairly common with FD rx7s. Write ups are on the forums on how to fix it but ive never got around to it. Also there is some clear coat peal on the roof of the car as to be expected with a 20 year old car but the body is in amazing condition.

SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY, NO JOY RIDES!!! If you want to drive it you MUST have cash in hand. Only trades i would consider would be a 2000 or newer 4 door truck + CASH.

Looks good and a decent price! Ive been looking to get a LS swapped RX7 but it sucks to have to pay cash instead of being able to get a loan from the bank since they will only give kbb on the car. GLWS man great car!

How do you figure? Kbb says $15,215 and NADA says its worth $15,400 - $19,200 for a stock model. Anyone who knows turbo rotary engines knows that it will sit broken more then they will drive it, so much so the LSX swap is considered to be the "reliability mod" on the RX7 forums. Besides i have well over 25k into this car and the ad states Or Best Offer. If you dont find the price reasonable or cant afford it then don't buy it.

Also the "x" in LSX is a variable (like in math), it stands for a number, its not an actual production engine. Ex: it could be an LS1, LS2, LS6, LS3 etc but i specify it to be a 5.7L LS6 block.

Go be a troll else where.

What an idiot, if you don't know what you are talking about then shut up.

Would you possibly be interested in a black '03 extended cab short bed 5.3 Silverado?
