LS Engine?: Car has other engine

This is a feeler thread for my '94 Toyota Supra. Reason for sale is that I am in a financial hardship at the moment which forces the sale of my beloved MKIV Supra. I have also wanted something LS powered now for years and I feel now may be the time for me to take care of some bills, get back on track, and still have a car that I'd be happy with.

A little back ground on the car:

I purchased this car in February of 2012 while being deployed overseas (this was my first pre-built car Ive ever owned out of 28 cars). The build began in 2010 and was finished in mid 2011. The block was built by Accelerated Performance and the head was built by Head Games (both very reputable in the Supra community). The end goal for this car was a 1000whp + street monster that was not completely torn apart, caged, and removed from the "streetable" category. I took delivery of the car in May of 2013 and began making her my own by ordering a Weld RT-S drag pack, cleaning it up, installing some little goodies, and retuning. The car made 1128whp 876ft lbs at one time while still in Miami on 37psi without an intake, more agressive timing, and probably on a more reliable and higher Ethanol content. John Reed was the man of choice for tuning duties and was able to extract 1040whp 823ft lbs on 35psi with intake and filter on with more conservative timing. Keep in mind that this isn't even pushing the threshold of this turbo and setup. With a Weldon and E98, 1200+ is well obtainable and 1300+ on a small shot of spray.

Mods list:

1994 Supra 6spd targa, black interior

Car has made 1128whp at 876 lbs at 37psi w/o air filter (on E-85)

There is easily $60k in modifications alone + LABOR to duplicate this setup and that's not including the cars price.

CONS:

- Somewhat of a PITA to cold start. This can be corrected by getting a cold start tune on the AEM.

- Damage on front bumper. Some stress cracks in the paint on front and some damage on driver side underneath from losing a fender liner piece. Was going to replace with a '97-'98 front bumper.

- Speedo does not work consistantly (in and out) and also reads in kilometers (car is originally a Canadian car). Might be VSS, but was going to replace VSS and replace with a US speedo and odo.

- Interior is an 8/10 minus a worn steering wheel and shifter panel. Trunk area is also stripped out.

What I want:

Something LS powered. I'm most interested in a WS6 Trans AM or C6 Vette. I don't need anything too crazy, but again I don't mind something built, procharged, or turbo'd. I'm open to pretty much anything, but I'm not too huge on Camaro's or C5's. I'm still open to see what you have even if you have either of those.

I know my asking price is a lot, but I bought the car for $52K and have added extras. The $45,000 is taking a hit. Even if the HG is blown, it's a $1000 job max to fix if you chose to have a shop do the work for you. I simply cannot go a dime lower than $45,000. If you have any of the car's mentioned that I'm interested in, I am also interested in Honda's, Evo's, maybe something else if you can afford to do a two cars for one trade. I say this because I am actually in the market for a DD as well. If you don't, I will need your LS powered car plus the appropriate amount of cash ontop to justify the trade.

If you are interested in working a deal or have any questions, please PM me! Thanks for your time.

Hey d bag...I mean D grade. I keep telling you dude, just trade me straight up for my Camaro and be done with it. It may not be a 1000 horse supra, but if you put your foot in the pedal, it will give you one hell of an erection.

Get car fixed, then post for sale.
Not many people are going to pay $45k for a car and hope for just a head gasket issue.
Nice car though!

CAR DOES NOT HAVE A BLOWN HG. The popped freeze plug must have been due to and improperly seated plug or not OEM. Car is fully drivable and flawless.

Not really pressing a sale, but Im open for offers.

My red camaro has the same wheels and tires (except my rear tires are slightly different).

Cool to see the exact combo on a red supra. Looks great! GLWS.

Thanks, I really like the looks of the Weld RT-S's. It's nice to run a streetable drag pack as well.
