I have a silver 1998 z-28 race body. I bought this from another member on here with hopes of dropping in my BBC. I hate to sell this car, but life has changed some things up for me so I will be moving to California soon; timing is bad for this build.
No motor, transmission or wheels (add $500 for the ZR1s); the rear end is a junkyard 10 bolt that I mounted just to move the car around, probably trash. I do have all of the interior plastics, just not shown in the pics. The car has the following modifications:
- Dzus'd aftermarket SS hood (does not have inner fender Dzus rails), SS rear wing (hood not shown, paint matched)
- Wolfe 8 point cage
- Kirkey race seat, black cover, with wolf crotch strap bracket
- Front and rear single adjustable Qa1 shocks
- Aerospace front drag brake kit
- Strange manual master cylinder with line lock
- Tubular front lower A-arms
- Tubular front k-member (stands were cut off for use of motor plates, just tacked on now)
- Madman travel limiters
- Madman rear control arms
- Madman panhard bar
- Madman outlaw torque arm
- Fuel cell mounted up front
The body is straight and car has a clear title. It also has a lot of man hours in sheet metal by the previous owner. The tunnel has been boxed and raised for more clearance underneath, the engine compartment has been patched and painted, and the rear sump has been removed.
I’m asking $3,000, $3500 with the ZR1 wheels, no trades. The straight body, parts and labor in this car are well worth it. The title is clear but still in the previous owner’s name because I’ve been too lazy to go up to the DMV and switch it over.
Please PM me for a quicker response.
Thanks,
Alfredo
Some pics are attached here, but this link has over 50 photos of the car from all angles, including under hood and under car.
