The time has come to sell my beloved purple pearl metallic 93 T/A. It's a pretty rare color and build combo, runs and drives well. Needs a little TLC, detailed below.

For sale is my 1993 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. It is a rare color, purple pearl metallic, which was only available in 93 and 94 F-bodies. I have yet to see another car this color in person. With a 6 speed and T-tops, this makes it a pretty rare build combo.

124k on the clock.

The good:
-LS1 style taillight swap
-Rebuilt T56 transmission still under warranty
-Competition Clutch stage 3 cerametallic clutch professionally installed when the trans was rebuilt
-No cracks in dash
-Paint looks pretty good considering its nearly 21 years old
-1 month old MSD optispark unit ($500 part)
-New water pump/gaskets and radiator hoses
-New timing cover gasket
-VATS (ancient GM vehicle anti theft system that prevents you from starting your car after unhooking the battery) bypassed
-New belt
-New ignition switch
-New spark plugs
-New O2 sensors
-New thermostat
-Coolant converted to ethyl-glycol (instead of engine eating dexcool)
-A/C delete pulley, system removed
-New oil cooler adapter gasket
-1 year old Kuhmo Ecsta AST all season tires
-New stock 16x8 GM chrome factory wheels, very clean, I have 2 extras I'll throw in
-No underbody/frame rust
-Oil changed every 3k with Castrol GTX high mileage/Fram filter
-Flowmaster muffler, stock headers/y pipe/catback. Nice and rumbly.
-Rockford Fosgate 8" sub in stealth box, bridged 400w amp
-2 500w Kenwood 6x9 4 way speakers in boxes, Planet audio 1000w amp
-Kenwood front usb/aux head unit (currently not powering any speakers, only RCA output)
-I have a new oil pan gasket for it, but found out it isn't leaking so it never got installed


The Bad:
Needs starter (I have one somewhere)
Needs radiator fans (bad fan bearing, squeals)
Previous owner had blown all factory speakers, hence the new system.
Needs rear brakes
Minor T-top seal leak (it drips a bit in a high pressure car wash)

The ugly:
Clear coat peeling on passenger fender
Damage to passenger side skirt
Tear in carpet by driver's feet

This car still turns heads. Needs a little more TLC than I'm willing to invest in it until I get out of college, so sadly it's gotta go. It has been daily driven by me for over a year. For those of you familiar with LT1 engines, many of the issues that are the biggest pain in the *** (opti, plugs, VATS) have already been addressed. A very fun car to drive when it's nice out, girls love the t-tops.

Asking 4100 obo, I've got money in the trans and parts and its a rare color. Come check it out, must have cash to drive her.
