The car:
2004 Pontiac GTO
6 speed manual
119,480 miles
Quicksilver Metallic (QSM) paint
The good:
- Clean title
- Always garaged
- Runs and drives very well
- I've owned this since 2007 and it has never let me down. All maintenance and upgrades performed by me.
- Red leather interior is in excellent condition. No tears or fading. This car is incredibly comfortable, very fast, and fun to drive.
The not-as-good:
- Has a power steering leak - I suspect an o-ring is cut. It'll drain from the max line to the min line over the course of 6 months. It does dribble on the floor of the garage every now and then.
- Needs a new gasket on the driver's side water pump/block interface (bubbles a little coolant out on hot days, but I only have to top-up once per year)
- Original clutch - works fine and I rev-match on pretty much every downshift so I think I've been good to it
Upgrades/extras included with sale:
- EFI LIVE ECU tuning/logging cable (costs $600+ new!)
--This is locked to this car only (Flashscan V1 cable), so it is literally useless for anything else
- 2005/2006 GTO front brakes (13" rotors and red 'GTO' calipers)
- JBA Shorty headers - CA Smog Legal
- Infinity Reference (6020cs) components in the front doors/dash
- Lou's Short Stick shifter stick (factory leather/aluminum ****)
- Replica SAP grille inserts
- Mesh lower grille insert (can be removed)
