F/S: LS swapped 81 ford fairmont wagon *updated 8/5/14*
Year: 1981 Make: Ford Model: Fairmont Price: $9500 Mileage: 177000 Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing Location (State): NJ Color: Red Transmission: Automatic Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
up for sale is my 81 ford Fairmont wagon. I'm not looking for trades, lowball offers, or to part it out - I will consider selling the car as a roller minus the engine/trans/ECM (basically plug your motor/tans in and go!).
theres a link to my build thread at the bottom if you want to see how the car got put together. I'm located in northern NJ, but can help deliver the car within a reasonable distance if necessary.
81 ford Fairmont station wagon
purchased from the 2nd owner last year - odometer read 77,000 miles (im thinking its more like 177K). originally had an I6/automatic. low option car with only a/c. I bought it to build a cool kind of sleeper/driver so it has some "patina" and imperfections (basically I wanted it to look kinda junky)

pretty much stock, has autometer gauges hidden in the glovebox, only thing visible is the tach but I will include the autometer digital tach/shiftlight that was originally there when I first built the car. the carpet is kinda beat, the b-pillar trim is also kinda beat, the headliner was replaced at some point, the seats are pretty mint, all in all its average(which is what I was going for)
all the sound deadener has been scraped off the floor, all the padding removed from the firewall, heat & a/c has been removed (I still have the heater box and all the ductwork it comes with the car)
the car weighs 2800lbs without me, has been a best of a 1.55 60ft off the foot brake and so far has ran 11.40s @116 short shifting/sandbagging it on the 255 radial. its perfect for what I use it for in 11.50 index. I drive it everywhere (highway sucks with 410's but that's just how it is)
there are 2 small rust spots in the front floor area, there is also a little rust on the drivers rear door and some bubbling on the rear 1/4 area.
