Default 2000 Firebird Formula Silver

Year: 2000
Make: Pontiac
Model: Firebird
Price: $8500
Mileage: 63070
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): GA
Color: Silver
LS Engine?: Car has LS engine

MOVING AND CAN’T TAKE THREE CARS. I DO NOT want to sell this. It is slowly passing other Firebird Formulas with the condition/mileage it is in and will only go up in value.

For Sale: Silver 2000 Firebird Formula with 330 HP LS1 engine with only 67,080 miles!! (same engine found in Camaro SS and Corvette during this time). Title in hand. Garage Kept. Regularly Waxed. Super Clean Carfax with ZERO negative indicators/wrecks etc. All of the stock equipment comes with the car and it has been extremely well cared for. This car is close to collector condition and can be turned back to bone stock with the change of the taillights and wheels (sold with car). The engine compartment and undercarriage are EXTREMELY clean. All oil changes are synthetic and done every 5000 miles. There are no check engine lights or engine issues. I have been watching the sale of these cars on Autotrader etc for several months and have not seen one this clean with this low miles for under 11,500. This month I just installed an upgraded brand new “Tough One” alternator and Die Hard battery (both under warranty). I have also tinted the windows and they are under warranty if the tint has any issues here in Valdosta GA. In the last year I have added around $2000 in additional equipment to the car including: Spohn Sway bars, Hotchkiss Trailing arms, JL Audio speakers and Z28 chrome wheels. It performs wonderfully on the road.

The Bad: 2 dime size small door dings on the left side of the car. No scratches with them though so they could probably easily be taken out. I only point these out because aside from them the paint is immaculate. I am not sure if you would notice them if I didn’t say anything. Also, the passenger side door panel has the standard 1 ½ inch crack (common problem with this generation of Firebird). It does not go all the way down the panel so it could be repaired if you want it to be perfect (tons of how to forums online). I took out all of the staples behind the panel on both sides as recommended per an LS1tech.com forum, so there shouldn’t be any risk of further damage. I did not notice this crack when I bought the car.

EXTRAS ALL FROM THE LAST YEAR INCLUDE:
Spohn Sway Bars $350 (will also include stock sway bars)
Hotchkiss Trailing Arms $346 (will also include stock trailing arms)
Brand New JL Audio C2 Components $500
Brand New Die Hard Battery $120
Brand New “Tough One” Alternator $140
Extra set of tinted taillights: 220 (stock taillights are off the car and in excellent shape)
Z28 upgraded Chrome wheels: $400
Stock Sway Bars, trailing arms, wheels and immaculate factory taillights all come with the car if you wish to get it back to bone stock. Engine has not been modified in any fashion.

Default Price drop to 8500

Just got another call on it and for some reason said I would take 8500. I guess that's the new price.

You have a really nice car but I think you still own it because it has two dipstick tubes.

Yeah I never thought of that. I always liked the automatic cause my wife could drive it if she wanted. Apparently, I am lame.

Although there is no way I would sell it for less than 8500 so I guess I will keep it. It blows my mind seeing a WS6 with 100K miles sell for 4K more with the same engine and 35K more miles.

no accounting for personal tastes. I love your car, silver formula auto is one of my top cars. I'd trade my $30k street/strip car for it, but why would you!
I'd keep it too.

Thanks! Yeah I do really like it, I have had a few people check it out after putting it in autotrader last week so I think it will sell. And 5500 for that Z28 is crazy if it is in great shape. You should just keep it.

Stop trolling, no one cares about the size of your wife's car.
