1997 Pontiac Firebird Trans AM WS6 Convertible -- black body, black top, with tan interior - vin 2G2FV32P0V2222393 - $9,700.00

This is a factory -- RPO (regular production option) WS6, automatic, convertible car -- less than 500 built in this color & configuration for 1997

Car drives, steers, brakes straight, about 13 MPG in the city -- 17 mpg on the highway, shifts fine, inspected until April 2014

What it is:

1. Ram Air
2. LT1 -- 350 (somewhere around 100K on car)
3. New Starter April 2013 ($150.00)
4. Automatic -- Fluid / filter changed in May 2013 by Shift Right Transmissions on RT30
5. 4 new tires by Export Tire in May 2013
6. Vacuum lines for HVAC reworked May 2013
7. New Optispark / wires / plugs / water pump ($550.00) installed May 2013
8. Re worked Monsoon Radio head ($250.00) with internal amp & "mini" plug auxiliary input June 2013
9. New front door speakers ($150.00) June 2013
10. Redone -- head light motors ($100.00) June 2013
11. Have "parade cover" ($350.00 value) for the convertible top June 2013 -- comes with purchase of car
12. JET 15005 tuner ($500.00 value) -- comes with purchase of car
13. Front end body panels reworked -- painted hood, nose, fenders ($1,100.00) August 2013 - since this repaint the WS6 on the hood is red & the air vents for the Ram Air are painted red
14. Fuel "hatch" cut in top of trunk bed to access fuel pump -- replaced leaking rubber hose -- September 2013
15. Fog lamps
16. Tan interior with power adjustable driver's seat - no rips
17. A/C works
18. All controls work -
19. Power locks / power windows
20. Cruise on column
21. Audio controls on the steering wheel
22. Tilt wheel
23. 4 Speed automatic with overdrive
24. Daytime running lights
25. 16 inch "Abs" chrome wheels - 4 new Falken 235 / 55 R16 tires at about 103,000
26. Engine has had some work done to it - it seems to have a cam - I do not know the details of the cam though - I have had the car to some LT1 experts - they say yes it has a cam - but that is about it
27. Leather interior - power driver's seat
28. Title in hand - no title issues

Things that I think should be done -- to complete car -- right now the car is an inspected, good looking, great driver -- these items will just make the whole car a bit better:

1. Driver side exhaust manifold is leaking -- ticking sound -- needs new gasket
2. Exhaust system has several small leaks in it where the different pipes come together -- need patched or just refitted
3. Redo suspension -- new springs & struts,-- priced at Summit racing less than $200.00 for parts

Part number Description qty

M09-cc635 Rear coil spring pair 1
M09-60114 Front coil spring 1
M09-K6573 Bearing Plate 2
MON-904962 Suspension strut mount 2

4. there is a "check engine" code showing -- due to lack of back pressure on exhaust - Install catalytic converter on car

5. Replace rotors & brakes -- I have new rotors & brakes for all four corners ($375.00) just have not installed them yet

6. Power antenna needs to be replaced - Ebay under $50 -

Other known issues:

1. When the car is under extreme load -- very high RPM's the engine will bog down -- seems like a miss -- since I do not normally push the car to this extreme it is not a priority on the "to-do" list -- this is one of the reasons I purchased the Jet 14005 to mess around with -- just have not got to that part of the process yet

2. The steering wheel controls on the right side of the wheel - controls the radio - the controls work fine, but do not light up at night
