This ad is for my 2004 GTO. The short story is in December the #2 intake lifter failed and took out the cam shaft with it. I've spent the last few months fixing it and once it was back together I found out it needs the bottom end bearings replaced. I'd love to keep it but I cant afford to have it down any longer. Here's a rundown of the entire car.

SOUNDCLIP OF NEW SETUP:
2004 GTO with 148xxx on the body/chassis

Shortblock:
Forged 347 built by Custom Built Motors (needs bearings replaced)
Stock crank
Mahle rods
Mahle forged flat top pistons with -4cc valve reliefs (10.1 to 1 compression with heads on motor)

Topend/rest of motor, most parts have about an hour of runtime on them
BTR Stage 1 camshaft 223/230 .610"/.573" 115+2
LS7 lifters/LS2 trays
Manley 7.4 inch pushrods (reused from old setup)
LS2 timing chain
LS6 oil pump
CBM Ported LS6 heads (flow 318/224 at .650 lift), reused and cleaned from old setup
BTR Dual spring kit with steel retainers
Stock rocker arms with Comp Cams Trunion upgrade
LS6 valley cover
LS6 intake
#42 Greentop injectors
The cross hatches are still good in the bores

Exhaust:
Pacesetter longtube headers
Corsa Sport with 3" resonator installed in I pipe (has the oval tip)

Wheels/brakes:
OEM 18" wheels (need to be replaced)
225/245 staggered tires
Rotors online F/R drilled and slotted rotors
Duralast gold brake pads

Suspension:
Hinson stock height motor mounts
Revshift trans mount insert
Whiteline diff mount insert
Rest is stock

Interior:
Fair condition, usual seat wear and door panel wear, headliner is still good.

Exterior:
Needs paint, I bought it with the paint in the condition it is in. It needs a full respray along with a hood/bumper. Could also use new headlights and foglights.

Stock 4l65e with a Yank PT4400 restalled to a 3600
B&M SFI certified flex plate

Rear end:
Stock 3.46 gears
Stock axles
No noise at all, I have always used Torco oil and additive
Stock driveshaft, guibos are still good, recently replaced the rear

Cooling system: Stock replacement radiator clearanced for OTR intake
Fairly new GMB water pump (has about 6K miles on it)

That should cover everything, I should also mention there is no A/C. I have the compressor but it will likely need a complete A/C overhaul. I feel this would make a good track car starting point, the previous owner tracked it a lot, I strictly drove it on the street and highway. I am asking $4500 obo.
