02 Turbo TA WS6
Year: 2002
Make: Pontiac
Model: Trans Am
Price: $13500
Mileage: 3000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): NJ
Color: Black
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
LS Engine?: Car has LS engine
6spd, blk, blk leather, t-top car
Body has 14X,XXX. I bought it off my brother last year and just don’t drive it a lot.
Motor is a 5.3 rebuilt with 3k miles. Head studs, arp flywheel, clutch, and rod bolts. Ported 241s, tick turbo cam 638lift, ported TB, factory LS6 intake
60lb injectors, racetronix 340 pump hotwired, AFPR, “needs billet rails and a better AFPR to turn the boost up”
Trans is stock and shifts fine and has a MGW shifter. Clutch “Kevlar” and flywheel “don’t remember the brand” changed about 8k mile ago when my brother owned the car.
Rear is rebuilt 10bolt “3.42 gears” with everything new and custom axles about 8k miles
Precision turbo brand new this weekend PT6776, 4” core IC.
Brand new stock springs and Blistein shocks all round.
17X9 17X11 GS ZRI wheels with worn 315 MT drag tires on rear
Touch screen head unit, small amp and stealth sub box in rear
Driver seat has some wear on the side bluster but not ripped or falling apart, both door panels have the normal cracks, 2 5/8th boost gauge colbat2 in center AC vent
AC works but either the compressor or belt squeals
The car made 566rwhp and 611rwtq on 13psi. I have it turned back down to 9-10 because I was running out of fuel and didn’t want to hurt anything.
I am looking to trade for an auto car with a 4l80, t400 trans and built rear. My car is a fun car but not a track car and I am more into drag racing then cruising. Or I’d sell for 13,500 firm.
I’m in NJ 08060 and would drive 4-5hr to meet up for the right trade.
As a side note I have the original motor “02 ls1” which was fine just needed valve springs “worn out” I could include if your car is worth more in trade.

Thanks
I wouldn't launch it at 5k but I've slipped the clutch at 4k and run 315 dr on the rear and have no issues. The 10 bolts are fine when built unless you drop the clutch.
I wouldn't trust any rear with a 4-6k clutch drop
My last TA had a 150shot in an stock 4l60 auto and 4k stall and I would launch that with 1.50 60fts all day and never had an issue.
