Default Built 98 Trans AM Vert

Year: 1998
Make: Pontiac
Model: Trans Am
Price: $12000
Mileage: 73000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): WI
Color: Silver
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive

Need to get rid of one of my trans am's so I have more room to build the other one. I have a clean title in hand for the car.

Most of the modifications I put on around 60k. I also have a set of oem WS6 wheels with brand new tires that I can swap for the C5 DD wheels if someone wouldn't want those.

KBB stock in good condition is 8k and I figured 4k for the rest of everything else so I am looking to get $12k obo. Also open for trades but would want a trade plus cash as I will most likely be selling the traded car. I would prefer to not have to store this again over the winter but if I have to it isn't a big deal.

The car was originally white and the PO painted it silver. It was repainted oem silver but when the metallic red racing stripes were put on it, the clear coat had a small amount of red flake put in it. The interior is black leather and in great condition.

Only thing I would be keeping would be my superhawk hood (which would be replaced by a silver flat TA hood). I will leave the superhawk hood on the car if I get my asking price.

As far as things that I can think of that are the cons are:
-power door locks don't work (I am assuming this is a bcm issue)
-the rear window is separated from the top of the top (common for convertibles)
-The drivers seat has a tan trim piece that goes over the power seat adjuster instead of the black.
-the radio isn't mounted. Never really bothered me because I rarely use it but I just ziptied it so that it will stay in the slot.
-front bumper is cracked in the front and scraped on the bottom.
-passenger rear wheel has slight amount of curb rash, however hard to see without being close due to the machined finish of the wheels
-driver's side door sometimes catches the door bumper guard things on the front fender when opening the door.

The drivers seat bolster is NOT ripped. I replaced the passenger side window motor as it was wearing out.

Currently the car has a Moser 9" rear end with the supporting goodies that I can leave in for more $$.

Here's the mods list:

Engine:

Patriot Stage 2 Heads
Texas Speed hardened pushrods
Comp Dual valve springs
Comp 273LR cam
LS2 timing chain
ported ls6 oil pump
Ported ls6 intake
Billet Fuel Rails
Holley as-cast valve covers
Ported MAF ends
Ported TB
SLP Lid
Poly Motor Mounts
Norris Catch Can
Chris 1313 Ram Air
Custom Coil Reloation with MSD wires
Pacesetter longtube headers
Custom 3" True Dual Dumped Exhaust

Currently makes 413rwhp/400rwtq (412.75/398.62) as it sits. This set up is more for under the curve power instead of peak dyno numbers. The torque curve is very fat and flat throughout the entire rpm range.

Transmission and rear end:
Tick Stage 2 T56 Transmisson
Tick Adjustable Master Cylinder
Spec Stage 3+ Clutch
MGW shifter
Stock 10bolt with 3.73 gears

Suspension:
BMR Front and Rear swaybars
BMR adjustable panhard bar
BMR tubular lower control arms
Welded in tubular subframe connectors
Sphoon tubular upper A arms
Koni Single adjustable shocks and struts (Fronts set on lower perch)
BMR lowering Springs with Heater Hose mod on rear
BMR strut tower bar
Drilled and slotted rotors with carbon ceramic pads
ABS Delete

Wheels:
C5 Deep Dish Machined face replicas
18x9.5 in the front with 275/35R18 Toyo R888s
18x10.5 in the rear with 315/30R18 Toyo R888s
Rolled rear fenders

Interior:
Red gauge lights
All other interior lights white LEDs
Sunvisor delete
AC Delete
dual pillar pod with innovate MTX-L wideband (PO just screwed a pod to the pillar)
Alpine type R speakers in all 4 spots with tweeters in front

Other Appearance:
Shaved, smoothed, and painted engine bay
Custom Retro style taillights
Engine Billet cap set
Powdercoated battery cover
Trans AM badges removed
LCM truck housing headlights high and lows (I do not have the high beams hooked up. It is just the housings. I rarely drive at night.)
6k HID in lows and fogs
LED switchback turn signals
Clear front markers
CETA mod

Here's pictures. I have a ton and I have no problem taking any more pictures someone would like

Only one sticker on the car from the Tail of the Dragon in TN that I can remove it wanted.

bumpity. I assume this wont sell before I put it away for winter but who knows haha. I would have no hesitation driving this across the country if someone from farther away is worried about it making the journey. I've had it on road trips to Boston, Florida, and Tennessee

Good luck and nice car dude. I've been trying to sell mine as well with no dice. And I just put mine away for winter as well.

Maybe we should just trade each other so we make each feel like we made a sales move on the rigs.

Well she is back up for sale. Open to trades but would prefer an outright sale.
