I am selling this for my parents, they are both retired now and only need one car,
so It’s time for this to go. My understanding is this car is an L.L.Bean with subaru’s own traction system, top of the line!
This is a fully loaded car; including dual moonroofs, McIntosh
factory option radio, heated leather seats, cold weather package (heated mirrors, heated
seats, heated windshield wiper grid), electronic climate control. Car runs and drives great!
The good;
tires have 9/32” all the way around- bridgestone serenity plus, purchased/ installed last year
front calipers were replaced last year
front pads are 7mm thickness, they are hawk pads with brembo rotors
Rear pads are 5mm thickness, they are also hawk pads with brembo rotors.
Oil change today 3/9/15 @ 132,300 miles.
New all season subaru mats
Oem subaru trunk mat
Battery and cables replaced 2 years ago. no corrosion on terminals or other connections
Engine drive belt and idler pulley were replaced 2 years ago.
Fresh DOT 4 brake fluid with new calipers. bled all the way around.
Trailer hitch with trailer harness installed.
Fuel filter replaced 2 years ago.
The bad;
rust on rear quarter panels (see pics)
right front lower ball joint has mild play in it.
both valve covers need to be re-sealed. All parts included in sale.
mild haze on headlights.
Trunk latch handle sticks slightly.
driver’s and left rear seat belt do not retract fully, they lock and latch just fine, but do not fully retract as they should.

Car has no major issues at all. Starts, Runs and drives great, I would happily keep it, but its better suited to a newer home that will get more use out of it. Easily drive all year round and take the family everywhere. If there was no rust I would be asking more, but as stated earlier I am open to all reasonable offers, the worst I can say is no. Car is located in lake county Illinois, but can easily be delivered to anywhere near milwaukee or anywhere in between.
