Default 1972 Chevelle 383 LS1

Year: 1972
Make: Chevrolet
Model: Chevelle
Price: $25000
Mileage: 5100
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): MN
Color: Purple
Transmission: Automatic
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive

Selling my 1972 Chevelle. I've owned the car since 2003, the LS swap was completed in 2011. I've driven it 5100 miles since. Motor is a 1999 LS1 with a Callies stroker kit. The body is very straight, the paint was done before I got it in 2003 so it has a few nicks and chips, the worst spot is a ding on the drivers door (see picture), car has no rust. The color looks black but it's actually a dark purple. The car put down 437hp/380 tq. on a chassis dyno, but it was the third pull on a pretty humid day, I think you could be over 450 on a different day. I built it for an all around car, it's loaded with sound deadener, vintage air and the f-body cruise control for comfort. It ran the best of 11.94 @ 114 in the quarter, and I've gotten as high as 19 mpg. The Rims are 18" Boss 338's, it will need tires soon.

I do have it, but not with me, I can post it later. It was a Dupont paint, a small empty can came with the car. I had a little bit mixed up a few years ago and the paint shop said it crossed to an OEM Saturn color. I've never seen a Saturn this color though.

I was just wondering for getting the door ding fixed. How far are you from the MSP airport?

I'm a little over 100 miles south of MSP, about 1.5 hour drive.
I did have a PDR guy look at the door, they couldn't fix it for fear of cracking the paint. Local shop quoted $800 to paint the door, if it doesn't sell I plan on fixing it over the winter.

Here's a link to a photobucket account with lots of pictures. There are sub albums of the engine build and a few track videos.
