tubular torque arm, 4:10 gear, mickey Thompson radials, 3600 yank stall. Other small supporting mods. Car has ran a best of 12.1 in the quarter and 7.70 in the 1/8. Has 180000 on body but less the 5000 on rebuild engine. At time of rebuild I upgraded the rods to from a 03 vette. Car has a dent in the quarter panel and the rear gear is noisy. Not bashing just informing. You are high on price. 98 with body damage and really high miles is not going to go for 6k. Especially with an auto.
This may be a really good candidate for a part out though.

The ad is only a couple of days old so you may need to give it some time, but if you're looking for a quick sale then I agree with the above. I actually clicked on this ad because I'm always specifically interested in '98 A4 cars, but at that price/mileage it would have to be something without the damage and listed issues. Is the trans stock? I assume so since nothing was mentioned about a performance build/re-build. Has it always been a midwest car? My concern being engine bay/undercarriage rust at that mileage, there are no pictures of those areas to get an idea either way. The interior sure does look nice for the mileage though.

The only thing done to the trans is the converter and a trans cooler. No the car isn't rotted out. the underbody is in pretty good shape. Bumping for a price drop to 5K bottom dollar.
