Engine info:
Stock bottom end LS1 from a 2000 Camaro. Seller claims it only had 58,334 miles but who knows. I was given a walk around video of the donor car running & a shot of the odometer. I did not witness the engine being removed from the 58K mile car.
I put a set of 243 heads, LS6/Z06 5308 cam, 12K mile fuel injectors, and a LS6 intake on this engine. New GM MLS gaskets and GM TTY head bolts were used.
The engine also has a set of truck style, heat sink coils with new GM wires, LS2 timing chain, ported LS6 oil pump,…..
The wiring harness was a built-from-scratch custom assembly from BP automotive. It has the relays and wiring included for A/C if you want to add it in the future. I also have a Camaro A/C compressor and all of the original mustang A/C stuff.
Engine management consists of a 411 ECM and mail order tune from BP automotive. The ecm is hidden under the passenger seat.
Trans info:
1996 4L80E transmission with 67,000 miles. It has the transgo HD shift kit and a custom built Revmax 3400 stall converter. Also has a GM truck remote trans cooler mounted in front of the radiator. The driveshaft is a custom aluminum piece from Driveshaft Specialist in Texas. New u-joints, new yoke…….
Interior info:
Leather front and rear seats from a late model mustang. Stock mustang shifter works with the 4L80E. 2 gauge pod on the pillar (oil & water). Single gauge pod on the column (AEM UEGO wideband). I’m currently using a Bluetooth OBD2 adapter & a small tablet for other gauges. The factory mustang cluster is still installed. The fuel level and volt gauges work as they should. It would be very simple to get the water & oil gauges working as well. Will throw in a f-body gauge cluster and pigtail if interested.
Exhaust info:
5th gen Camaro manifolds feeding a 2.5” mandrel bent exhaust system with an x-pipe, dynamax super turbo mufflers, and flowmaster brand 2.5” stainless tipped tailpipes.
Suspension & brake info:
MMR coilovers up front with UPR Shark caster/camber plates. 03-04 Cobra control arms. Eibach pro-kit rear springs, Strange 10 way shocks on all 4 corners. Blue oval industries upper and lower rear control arms w/poly bushings. Drilled and slotted rotors on all 4 corners.
Wheels & tires:
1 set of Greg Weld Prostars, 15” big & little. Fronts have good tread, rears are worn out drag radials.
1 set of Mustang “starfish” wheels with new rubber . Just had these blasted and painted.
Misc. parts:
AJE autocross style k-member
Modified AJE 4L60E crossmember
Battery relocated to trunk
Adjustable proportioning valve for the brakes
New starter
New water pump
New GM oxygen sensors
New f-body radiator
Dual f-body fans
Newer 3.73 FRPP gears & rebuilt 28 spline diff.
Misc info:
This car has power steering, power brakes, power windows, power locks, stereo, air bags, …
The engine bay was meticulously cleaned and painted during the swap. Most of the holes in the inner fenders were plug welded and smoothed. I also filled and smoothed the valve covers & eliminated the coil brackets. The valve covers, timing cover, and water pump are painted hammer tone silver. The engine bay is simple and clean. The ABS has been removed, new brake lines were made for the front half of the car. The car weighs in just under 3200 with about a half tank of gas.
The car runs and drives great. I just had it aligned, changed the oil, and polished the prostars. Its ready for a new home.
Lowered price again, now $11,000 OBO. Would entertain trades + or - cash but no mustangs and no bikes.
More pics or info available upon request.
