Within the last year or so I have performed the following general/preventative maintenance: new coolant, trans fluid, diff fluid, new battery (2016), custom fuel line (2016)
Since I have owned the car I had the OEM fuel pump & the boost-a-pump replaced with a 340lph pump when the boost-a-pump setup failed. The original oil scavenge pump also failed in late 2014 and I replaced it with a Turbowerx pump. At this time I also sent the turbos off to Tim's Turbos here in Northern Virginia to be rebuilt, more for peace of mind than anything as they were still making boost when the scavenge pump failed.
Oil changed every 3-4,000 miles. Just changed 2/23/16.
I have receipts for most work.
APS kit was installed and tuned by Mongillo. The car makes 7 pounds of boost and was told by the previous owner it is sitting at about 560whp. Butt dyno confirms this number.
Everyone says this but I really do not drive this car hard. Very rarely do I go through the gears -- then again you don't need to in this car. The car has not used oil while I have had it.
As with any used car, especially one that is 11 years old, it is not perfect; however, this car is definitely much cleaner than the vast majority of GTOs you will encounter. I have owned a few and been around them for a while so I am sure of this. The rear headrests are split; I planned on having the windows tinted anyways which would hide this but I just haven't gotten around to it. I have always garaged the car.
The car has one issue that needs to be addressed. It needs a hose made between the A/C condenser and drier for the A/C to be functional. The condenser works and all other parts are on the vehicle. I have tried to find APS A/C parts so I can bolt them up but have had no luck. A good hydraulic hose shop should be able to fab a hose. I have even spoken with another owner on Facebook who had a NAPA make one. Oh and the engine bay could use a good cleaning.
If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Open and honest seller here. Open to serious offers, but this is not a 15k GTO so don't ask that. I do not have the title in hand. My credit union which is about a mile down the road holds the title.
I am also now daily driving the car as I recently sold my Honda, so the mileage will be increasing.
Thanks,
Zach
