It is not a numbers matching car, it has a 2 year old freshly rebuilt crate Pontiac 400 motor in it. It is an automatic AC car.
The good:
The body is solid almost no rust, solid trunk floor pans, hood all of it. There is a little bit of rust on the bumper mounts.
Motor and drive train all work and is fully drive-able.
The interior is freshly refinished, carpet seats, and headliner.
The car has brand new tires all the way around, cooper cobras
New lug nuts, new rim skirts rims are in good condition.
New lights exterior and interior.
Newer paint, the paint color is carousel red, however it looks very much orange.
comes with lots of parts, a front bumper, a shaker hood, tail lights, chrome trim kit, full sticker kit, as well as the AC compressor and mount.
Odometer says 28k, I believe that for how solid the body is. But again the motor is not original
The Bad:
This car is not a show quality car, its not a Barret Jackson ready car, It needs work to get to that level.
It is drive-able as I had stated earlier however It needs tuned up. It has a holy 650 carb. It does not match the intake that is on the car.
I have no documentation on the build of the engine. It was built buy a shop who is since out of business.
It has a oil leak Its either an oil pan\oil pan gasket or possibly a rear main seal. I've been to busy to look further into this. I will when my life slows down if I still have the car. So it does leak oil and some times smokes if you drive it for long. I have driven it plenty of times and it didn't smoke at all.
Regardless, It needs to be addressed.
The paint is not the best, it was done by an armature and looks good from about 15 feet away. But up close it has issues and has some chips in it.
The drivers side door sags a little and needs adjusted.
The passenger side window needs to be tighten Its on the track but seems loose.
Over all the car needs a little work but all the bones are where you want them to be. Its a great start for a show car.
NOTE: I AM NOW INTERESTED IN TRADE FOR LS POWERED CARS\TRUCKS OF EQUAL VALUE! Show me what you got!
