Selling my 2000 Camaro SS Convertible due to not having time to enjoy the car and for being afraid to get it dirty. Car has 11,700 miles and is a Hurst six speed.
Car details:
Real Y2Y car (denotes a true SS)
Bright rally red exterior with a neutral canvas top and neutral interior (neutral is tan)
SLP added options when shipped to SLP in March 2000:
Hurst six speed (has the factory applied Hurst Equipped badge on the left rear)
Chrome ten spoke wheels
Performance dual dual exhaust
Auburn high performance rear differential
SS grill
SS Floor mats
Car is very rare. One of 144 red convertibles with the six speed. Break it down further with the neutral top, neutral interior, Hurst option and the SLP options and you get the point.
As for condition, I dare you to find one nicer. I used to own a detailing business and still detail on the side (my cars and special clients). This car is absolutely flawless. Fully detailed including undercarriage, door jambs, under the hood, etc. Every square inch of the car is detailed. All using products that are not available to the average consumer.
I spend 3-4 hours cleaning the car after going on a ten mile drive. I have a lift in my garage which allows me to fully polish the underside which I have done. NEVER seen rain, a puddle, a cloud, etc.
I replaced the OE tires this spring. They were not dry rotted or cracked, I replaced simply for safety as the tires were over 16 years old.

Very nice car. Any idea why the SS chrome wheels and SS grille don't appear on the SLP option sheet? Do they appear on the passenger door SLP content sticker?
WU8 identifies the car as an SS. The Y2Y code just means it has additional SLP content/options over a purely base SS. And some base cars w/o SLP options still got assigned the Y2Y code.
