Testing Waters.... Trade my built low 11 sec LT1 for a C5? Not sure if I'm really serious or not, but I'd like to test the waters.
Is there any interest to trade my LT1 for a C5?
My car is a proven performer that's relatively well known in the LT1 world.
It's mean, it's loud, and it's got consistent low 11 second slips. It's not far from a 10 second pass with a few tweeks IMO.
My car:
355 Forged top end LT1
LE2 heads, LE3 cam, PAC 1518 springs
Hooker LT's to custom dumped xpipe (no mufflers)
ProRace CPT 4L60E w/ Yank PT4000
Ford 9" w/ 4.11 gears, a spool will be going in soon to replace the posi.
Weld Prostars all around, skinnies up front and MT ET DR's out back.
The other usual boltons have been done.. if you're interested just ask.
Car has no A/C, it's been disconnected for a while, but could be put back on if someone cleaned the system out and charged it up.
Anywho, I'd be curious on what's available in the C5 market that might be interested in a trade. Testing the waters here...

About 25 passes on the new motor and about 2k miles on the build overall.

i can vouch for this car. not your typical lt1. interior is also i very nice condition. leather, yadi yada. i still cant get over how stock the motor looks. should be a 9 sec with a spray converter and obviously some spray to go with it.
