i want an extended cab 4x4 auto w/ the V6..i have got $3k in hand and maby another 2K in a week or so..I live in NY so its got to have good tires and if its rusted all to hell you can keep it..i am not afriad to make a drive for the right vehicle either

however please be very specific w/ pics as i drove 2.5 hrs yesterday one way to go buy a truck just to find out the whole front bumper was rusted OUT and the wheelwells of the rear were rusted through..so dont bs ..

thanks headed there now...and if i was a ford guy i would have bought a truck weeks ago...you cant seem to give a damn ranger away lol... but its over 5K for a 11 yr old V6 auto 4x4 truck?

i had a dakota quad cab 4.7 2002 and i loved that thing. it was 2 wheel drive but it went through alot of crap it shouldn't have been able to and it towed way more than it should have been able to haha.

i want one for the winter and for light towing, hauling fishing poles, deer etc...but i live 40 miles from work so i have to have the V6 just for the damn MPG...

i hear ya, and yes the gas mileage is definitely not a strong point in those trucks haha. but look into or post on dakotausa about gas mileages of the v6's... i can't remember if they were enough of a difference or not.
