Looking for a clean rust free WS6 6 speed.

I prefer cars with mods, but stock is acceptable as well. Ideally 100k miles or less.

Willing to spend up to $10,000. For the absolute right car, a little more could possibly happen.

Needs to be within 5 hours of NE Ohio. Could travel a little more if there is enough photos/info about the car and it's exactly what I want.

The more built the car is, the more I probably will like it. Really want an all around clean car.

May consider a built GTO as well.
Going to look at a ws6 in about a week. Looking for other options as well.

$10K is not "too little." It's just that you get what you pay for in most cases. And an $8K-$10K WS6 will probably mean 100K or more miles and some type of issues to address shortly after you own it. You might be able to find a clean Z28/SS M6 in that price range, but the WS6 is a LOT harder. For $12K you might be able to reduce future headaches and find quite a few more cars in the 50K-90K range. And for $8K you'll probably be looking at a lot more headaches. But you might find a clean one meeting your specs. It doesn't hurt to look and stick to your guns. You can always raise the ante. Cars in the rust belt will be on sale from 5-15% off from October-March. Be patient and keep your eyes open.

If mods are what you're looking for then you might be able to find something already modded to your liking (no cam or head work) in the $10K-$12K range. You can almost buy those mods for free.

No additional advice needed since it was all covered in the Jan-Feb thread. Now 6 months later. It still comes down to trying to find a quality car that won't bag you and having the cash to buy/repair it as needed.
