Hi All,

life has finally permitted me to get another LS1! Had a full bolt on WS6 for a couple years but moved to CA and couldn't find any way to smog without a huge investment.

Enough backstory, what I'm looking for now:

98-02 Camaro or Firebird
LS1
CA car that will pass smog
miles don't scare me too much, as long as the car has been taken care of
M6 preferred but willing to do auto as they appear to be cheaper

Budget $4,500

I know the budget is low and I'm willing to sacrifice miles and to some extent condition. Paint doesn't need to be 10/10 for example, interior can be worn, etc.

Willing to drive a little ways for it, but would like to stay in NorCal, have a new baby so road trips are more difficult than they used to be.

Let me know what you've got, I know it's a small budget, but I'm not terribly picky. Also, I'd probably sell a kidney and get it up to $5k for a SOM car.
