i have an artic white 97 ws6 t/a, pic in sig, she was rear ended by a drunk driver 9/10/08 and i need parts. heres the thing, i love my white and NBM scheme, but i really love pewter birds, always had a thing for them. i have someone in missouri who did a deep mettalic orange LT1 with blackbird stripes and black ceta mod (which i hate), blackbird stripes i LOVE, but i CANT get over the *** end of my car, everyone else loves it too. i just found a rear bumper i need thats pewter, so my question IS, should i have it repainted and continue my white and NBM theme, or should i paint it pewter, should i do NBM black bird stripes? i think the NBM stripes i have would be too much on pewter ws6 lt1. i like to be different and id like everyones input. i have zinc plated drilled and slotted rotors and i was after the ccw 505A's, i was going to have them painted NBM to match my stripes, but if i go pewter i have to rethink my entire color sheme, NBM is so dark tho i could prolly get away with black bird stripes and my "stripe" i have on the bumper instead of the ceta mod. i HATE ceta mods so pls dont request it, its not gonna happen. heres some pics of her now








picture this same car only as pewter with the same nbm stripes, or should i go blackbird stripes and only have the small stripe above the license plate?

blackbird stripes are the stripes on that orange lt1, that run down the side on the ws6 hood


mine are on top, his on the side, very clean and subtle, mine are "out there"

NBM and pewter don't mix... Unless you have pics to show otherwise. Pewter really goes well with black and shiny metals. I always thought LT1 birds looked cool in a metallic color... I like the blackbird stripes but something unique would be pretty cool. Maybe stripes like yours but angled with the hood vents? If you can't picture it I can photoshop it some time. Just throwin' some ideas out there.

oh ok.... well i like em both, cuz they each have their own attributes...
yours make it look like more of a muscle car...and they look really good with the blue on the white...however i dont think they would work with the pewter...
i think the blackhawk or whatever ones would look better on the pewter...maybe a satin black or somethin...

i can always go with vinyl, tell i make up my mind, try em both out b4 i spray the stripes on. EVERYONE thinks my stripes are black, tell you get up close, nbm is so drk i think i could pull it off. you see tan and drk blue everywhere, most people dont notice it, with clothes and such, so im curious how it would look

i dont like how they angle on the ls1 ws6, i like how mine are straight back, flows better with lt1 lines

i really like the white with the NBM stripes, and have the 505a's paint NBM aswell. just like what was said in the other thread. but yet again i have a pewter LS1 TA. seeing how i haven't seen a pewter LT1 TA. so i would possibly go with painting the whole car pewter, have the 505a's chrome, or polished, and go with the blackbird??? (idk if that what its called cuz im on my phone.) and it would perfect.

On pewter I would go with blackbird stripes, black. On white I would keep it the same way you have it now.

Just sayin... You won't find too many pewter cars with NBM accents (cause NBM isn't extremely complimentary to pewter).

I would do the black bird strips but Idk if I would do the pewter and nbm combo. I would do black with a sliver or possible a tan black bird strip to ascent the interior, and the I would just black out the wheels, but thats just me.

Go with black bird strips, they look way better, they a subtle and look super clean.
