Default Need the Speedo in my 3rd Gen Recalibrated

I got different gears put in my dad's 85 Trans Am and the speedo is off. It is now reading too high. Anyone in the SoCal area that can recalibrate it or know of a good place to take it to get it recalibrated? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What gears did you put in it?

Fixing the speedo in a thirdgen involves changing the plastic speedo gears in the tailshaft of the transmission.

Here's a link that might help: http://www.thirdgen.org/techboard/tr...eedometer.html

Also, are you guys interested in joining the local thirdgen club? Our next meeting will be Saturday April 11th at Mimi's Cafe in Industry.
