its bullshit, we all now damn well that 13.0 can be a high 12, with that mph, but no one will ever ******* tell it like it is, with fear of losing the respect of the auto maker, then not getting test vehicles next go around, in turn no stupid ******* magazine can be written.
its bullshit, that camaro is clearly a 12 sec car, but to be almost 2 seconds faster then the challenger would be unacceptable.

Was that Fontana and Angeles Crest Hwy? Cool. I still like the Challengers look a little more and I wouldve thought the Camaros 1/4 performance would be a little better. Those were almost stock C5 times. Nice ride though. A little bit of work and that LS3 will be a beast.

no... its not the drivers, its that the challenger barely **** out a 13.9, if edmunds or anyone said the camaro ran a slow time of a mid 12, dodge would **** their pants. and never give up another test car, you have to think, its corporate bullshit,

You are right this one is way different than any other post....
yes the drivers are crappy, if you watch they always do that nice burnout when running cause it looks cool too, meh I couldn't see anything but from the sounds of it, the SS ran a 13.0 well then heck thats awesome for the weight of the car, and the challenger, I guess is no "challenge" for us.
This is sad cause dodge used to be the beastly masters at making monsters on the strip. Ohh well. maybe later I can see the video.

Im with you on this one ... If they totally poop pooped the challenger and or mustang there is no way they would ever get another test car from those manufacturers. The truth is the Camaro should run better times than those and once we get them here on the streets it will be proven ... especially once we start modding them. I cant see any one of those other two keeping up without a lot of help.

People need to understand that the location of where the 1/4 mile pass was made is the major factore on the time. Ca people have nice low elevation, but if they take their cars to a higher elevation they will find their 12 sec cars strugling to break 13s

They need to do some runs in Bakerfield (Famoso), then we'll get a better idea of what it runs. And actually most tracks in CA are higher elevation than the east coast tracks. In CA the land rises very quickly as you leave the coast. The land may look flat but its probably still quite a bit above sea level.

that video is a bunch of stinky dog crap lol,
they did not even have the cars at a track so how are they reading the times??
g-force??? yea those are known for there accuracy
and why did they use just an r/t to run against the ss i think the srt-8 would have been much more interesting and then they could have gave use some real 1/4 times and not have to worry about dodge getting upset about Chevy betting them
