Default Autocrossers & Road Racers Come In!

I was wondering if anyone from Tech does any active autocrossing. Ive been checking out Solo2.com for events and rules. I would like to start getting into that and will probably start in a novice class. Anyone here a SCCA member or part of a autocross club? Or, if anyone else is interested in getting into autocross let me know. Maybe some of us can go to some of the events together, Ive been looking at some coming up in May.

Yeah, they have a Corvette Challenge I might enter next month. Maybe we can do some events this summer?

I would love to go road racing. But my trans and rear won't allow me.

Why not? I use my auto and it does great in canyon carving. You just gotta shift manualy to keep it in lower gear so it wont overheat.

Well my rear will have a spool and the th400 has a rmvb. I heard if you downshift a rmvb trans that both gears might engage and kaboom goes the trans. I should keep my built 4l60e.
