29 Palms, Yucca Valley, Palm Springs! Hey guys, post up here if you are in the 29 Palms, Yucca Valley, or Lucerne Valley area! Trying to get a regular meet together and seeing if anybody is interested. I see a lot of F-bodies near 29 Palms...

If you know anybody with an F-body around here besides me could you see if they'd be interested in a regular meet (monthly?). Thinking of making LS1tech.com flyers to put on parked F-bodies... haha. Seems like not too many people out here are computer savvy.
More like Lee needs a 4x4 just to get to a paved road going to town!

that is a good idea. there are a **** load of f-bodies parked in the parking ramp

Which parking ramp? Not too familiar with 29 Palms yet. I'm a civvie.

I had a blast in 29 when I was there back in 04. Is that red "stage bazillion" S-R-T-4 still creeping around there? I broke him off numerous times...
Speaking of the 111. We used to run that up to Idylwyld (sp?) and back down the 10. From the base to Palm Springs up to Idylwyld and back to the base was somethin like 130+miles of pure fun.

haven't seen a red one. i got broke off by a blue one this one night, although i later found out that i had a cracked spark plug and was only running on 7 cylinders.

Alright, once I finish getting settled in (just moved out here full time) I'll make some LS1tech flyers and we can get a meet/cruise started. I've been busy lately (boxes all over the place!) and haven't even had time to wash my car!
Seems like all of you are in 29 Palms - so I will drive over from Yucca one day and do some location scouting for a meet unless you guys can think of a spot off the top of your head.
It's in the mountains due south of Banning/Beaumont. Decent mountain cruise but it is a bit of a drive (then again isn't everything around here??
). 62 to the 10 W to Banning/Beaumont, then south from there via a two-lane highway that takes a winding route up into the hills.
