Default slp headers

doing a long tube slp header swap .. would i have to drop the k member?

Nope! But it might be worth doing your motor mounts at the same time and switching to urethan mounts. Having the new mounts give you more clearance and prevent banging. You'll definitely want nice high jack stands under the front though (or a lift) to get the right angle on the headers going in.

get some other kind of headers, those really sux ***** to install leave the k member alone

Please listen to this!!

Installing motor mounts after headers is not very smart if you can do it at the same time!

lol im jk im just hating on you guys cuz installed the headers 1st then got a cam and motor was dancing all over so i had to take out the headers to install the motor mounts

you coulda not uninstalled the headers....
you shoulda just removed alternator and ac compressor

I had to drop the AC, but not the Alternator...I did mine the same time as the headers though. Best part was it really eased the header install.

Just out of curiosity are they the new long tube or are they the older "tuned" equal length headers?

Dont need to drop the K member, but it sure makes em easy

he had to drop the k member about 5 inches and remove the oil filter but he got the job done..

i have no idea what model they were but they sure werent going in
