F-body kits are not C.A.R.B. legal man, don't know how you had one to begin with. Also where are you located, there are PLENTY of other smog guys who will smog it without a second look as long as it passes the sniffer.

Last i heard they had only applied for the carb cert. but it never got approved.
And yes i do, there are quite a few in the SFV that will do it. There is one in Burbank who smogged my car who i can call for you if you want.

STS is legal in cali even for lt1's now. It even says it on sts's website. Anywho, its supposed to be stamped into the tailpipe of the kit. Its not just a sticker, have you looked over the entire kit? Is it an older kit? STS told me (when i was debating if it was or wasnt legal in Cali) they stamp the CARB info into the pipe itself. Was that wrong info? Becuase the guy i talked to sounded retarded but ive also read that many times

I don't see why it would be difficult to obtain from STS, and it doesn't sound like it would be an easily reproducible "sticker".
If so, copy the STS logo from their website and add the CARB EO # to it. Ta da! You've made your own sticker.
Print on either glossy or flat sticker paper and you're set.

im looking at trading my CTS-V with a 99 vette with the twin turbo kit on it. i dont keep up much on the sts kits but last i heard they were not legal, but JL was in the process of getting them approved.
so i m assuming that the EO number is the same for all vehicles right? my vortech kit is the same EO number for all of their GM kits if i remember correctly...
thanks,
Jeremy
