Default Has this ever happend to anyone with there car.

Ok, so a few weeks ago my car check engine light came on right before i went to the track and it went from a 12 sec car to running 14.0 trapping anywhere 8-11 miles slower. OBD TECH 2 showed 4 codes

p0100 p1657 the other 2 had to deal with o2 sensors , skip shift 1-4 then it was blowing the fuse in the engine sensor

since then i had it checked out to see if any electrial wires toasted they couldnt find anything. So they put in a 25 amp breaker fuse in.

so the car runs like crap then all of a sudden a week later the electric water pump goes out. I put a new one in and we noticed the electric water pump was connected to the pcm . So i bought a new electric water pump the car ran for 4 minutes then it died then the SECURITY LIGHT came on BLINKING the car woudlnt start at all. I contacted bryan @ pcm4less told him everything and he said flat out your PCM is F$C^E% so i managed to find one after searching all over the internet nobody had one called gm got the only one in the state threw brown and brown cheverlot in AZ. $208 bucks not bad. Its been sent off i should have it in 2 days.

Heres the question im having the VAT turned off do you think the car will start up or will the security light still be on and i wont be able to start the car ?

This isnt a tech question really im curious if anyone else has experienced the same.... COME ON GUYS SOMEONE HAD TO HAVE HAD THIS HAPPEN TO THEM

You should have asked me, I have a '97 PCM in my garage.

Who wired up your EWP?

If you have VATS tuned out in the PCM, the computer will no longer need the signal from the BCM to enable fuel delivery. However that will not allow the starter relay to work properly if you have a faulty key or bad ignition cylinder. Only way to know for sure is to get your new PCM in and try and start the car.

Put the steering wheel in a rear naked choke and it should fire right up.

LMAO, also try punching the hood a couple of times as warning shots. Then tell it how highly skilled you are at MMA and tell it you want it to run 10's or else there will be trouble.
