Not sure yet, but talking to my boss, and the boss in another department and I might take a position up in monterey, good thing is I get a company vehicle and can keep low miles on my car but then problem is finding a decent place to live. Anyone from Monterrey got any decent idea's for places to live?

Northern Cali area. Real nice area and pricey too. I wouldnt mind living there

Well monterey is about the same price and a little cheaper than where I am now here, just going more into the bay area gets ridiculous, I was looking around Salinas but I am not too sure how nice salinas is.

Are you kidding me? you need to get out more often, Monterey bay aquarium? one of the largest aquariums in cali (i think the largest) Laguna Seca Raceway, Pebble Beach gold course.

It is mid coastal area cali, about 1.5 hours south of san fran on the coast, really nice area, not to expensive to live, and the job will be easy.

I should say anyone from Salinas as well or Seaside, I am looking to live within like 30 miles of monterey if at all possible as well.

If anyone can shoot me in a direction of decent areas? or knows of a great place to live for a low price I am game.

born & raised up there (Carmel), you can find affordable pockets in Seaside, Pacific Grove and Marina. Though I don't live up there anymore, my family says Salinas has been getting bad in some areas.

Ok thats what I was worried about, my car will be parked almost all day everyday so I don't want some joker thinkin they can ****** it. Yeah I was thinkin seaside area would be cool, just checkin on if it is a decent area.

I interview today for the position, rather they want to speak with me about it, so I will see how this goes, if so I will most like be covering our site in hollister as well, fresno is not too far, and south bay area is my old stompin grounds so if anyone is up to anything that way I am up for it, I already talked with someone about Gilroy as well.
