OC Original Hat Brea Meet 2009 I started a new thread so we don't get confused. Anybody have any ideas where the new meet up should be. Its a Friday night, we don't really have to have an all out car meet. We should go somewhere were we can do something as well, the Hat got boring. Suggestions?

Well I mentioned this in the previous thread but no one will bother you as it's already a car show, lots of rat rods and muscle - Garden Grove Main Street Car Show. Right across the street from Costco, just off the 22 freeway. Would be nice to get a good Fbody showing. Happens every week. You can also enter the "official" show that's actually on main street (most show their cars in the adjacent parking lot) to have a chance to win a trophy and enter the raffle. They also have live entertainment every now and then. Many vendors on site every week. Miccy-D's in the lot as well as a mexican restaraunt/bar and Del Taco right across the street.

Id be down to roll there, im right around the corner in orange and it seems alot safer than trying to venture into BREA PD terroritory

I hate to break it but when I mean hes a good driver hes a good driver. You actually have to sit back and listen to him and try to take him seriously for a few haha. We should have a meet of all kinds, the srts would always be there last time with us and they didnt seem to bring any trouble.

Yep. I'm tellin ya, there's TONS of cars that show up to Garden Grove, there is a police presence (very light one) but they DON'T breathe down ur neck. There's even another parking lot adjacent to the secondary lot in case parking runs out in the main lot (which happens very often during the summer). It'd eliminate all the common cop problems and having to get permission from the property owner since it's already designated for a car show on Fridays, and it happens every single friday, all we have to do is agree on when to meet up.

If I can get away from work early enough I'm gonna try and make it in the actual "show" down the main drag. I've been polishing the crap outta the WS6 for a few hours a day since monday so it should be down to a pretty wet shine by Friday

I'd recommend you guys get there any time between 6 and 7 since a lot of cars start rolling out at around 8ish. If you wanna show up early go for it, I think it starts sometime between 4:30 and 5...
