Default Moving to the Phoenix, AZ area, wanted to say Hey!

So it appears that my fiance and i will be relocating to Glendale, AZ. We both currently live in Northern VA. Her grandfather lives in Glendale, and due to slowly degrading health, we are looking into moving out there to take care of him. my fiance will do online schooling full time, while caring for him, and ill work. Im born and raised in the DC/VA area, but ive always liked the west better, from trips and such. Really looking forward to the warm weather. I hate the cold.

I have a '98 Camaro right now, but i will probably sell it before we move, to cut costs down for the cross country trip, and to put a little extra money in my pocket. But i fully intend to buy another F-body, or maybe a C5 vette once we are settled.

Im still doing a lot of job hunting, so if anyone knows of anything, let me know! I have 4 years experience in building engineering/facilities work, all in a Government setting. about 6 months ago i moved into security work. Honestly im looking for anything that pays decent, offers benefits, and is a stable job.

Anyway, hopefully im not out of the fbody scene long, and even when im not in it, ill still be all over the forums, and might even crash a gathering or two on my Harley, just so i can be around the scene.

Yeah... Summer tune... Hi/Low Oct. Timing table x .75 and you think you're BLESSED with a DA in the 3ks. LMAO.

BTW - check uship.com... I'm guessing you'll get a "hot shot" haul from VA to AZ for $700

Welcome to the Phoenix area. While it's true that the car scene slows down a bit in the summer months, I think in general there is a great car scene here from around September through April. You should check out the Events section on the AZFBA (www.azfba.com) board. We have stuff going on all the time. Our next event will be a cruise to Mt. Lemon on July 11th. I am told that it's much cooler weather there. You should also check out the AZ Camaros and Firebirds site (www.arizonacamaros.net).
