Car Clubs??

Car Clubs?? Hello All,
I'm kinda new to this forum. My kids are old enough now and the wife and I were thinking about looking at some car clubs close by. We're in the inland empire (Riverside) and thought it would be nice to get out, meet some people and enjoy a nice drive in the car. I'm also looking at making some upgrades to the beast and would love to talk with some people who have been there done that. This is my third T/A, the first at 16 years old, so I'm kinda an F-body guy.
Also, I'm helping my 19 year old son restore a Black 93 Formula. At times he may want to tag along. I guess it runs in the family..
Any suggestions or comments on clubs would be appreciated. Thanks in advance..

We used to meet alot with GM Muscle in Corona, but lately there have not been many guys showing up to meets. Id like to get a club together also, not really one that you need to pay club dues and all that stuff but just to go on some cruises and have some meets.
Im in Riverside also, I also come from a big F body family, ive had well over 10 F bodies in all different gens and im only 23.
Maybe we need to get a meet together. There are quite a few guys that enjoy the meets.

I'm down with trying to revive the gm muscle club and meets. They guys that I have met from that club were always very nice guys and the meet was chill. Also I was looking into getting a meet point where the owner/manager of whatever owned the lot would be in on the meet so we didn't have to worry about police or anything like that

Ya I wanna make it legit. And some managers and owners are down to allow meet cuz it brings in money and free publicity. Just gotta find a place that's within tolerable limits of everyone as far as a drive goes.

I also wouldn't mind hearing from other clubs in or around the area as well.
I agree that a central location to meet would be great. I love doing the cruises but I don't really want to have to drive a long distance to the meeting every month. I've been commuting to LAX for work for the past 15 years and it gets old.

Well I'm located in Murrieta/temecula area and this would be a nice central location for both the ie and sd clubs but last time I tried to get a meet out here it went bust. So I'm thinking maybe corona the innout off Ontario is a good spot right off the fifteen but I'm not sure about the manager I will talk to him to see if he will play along with us other than that I don't have alot of ideas up in the corona area. If you guys are down for a Murrieta/temecula meet then there are a few places I can scope out. Just let me know and I will try to get the ball rolling.

Ok so I will start scouting places in Murrieta temecula area that are easily accesable (sp) from the fwys. And start talking to some managers. What day do we want to do this? Friday night? Saturday night? Or Sunday night? Or any others? I want people to be able to come.

Yeah, definitely cruise out to Bob's Big Boy on Friday night. You can get there at 4pm or you can get there at 10pm (or anytime in between 
) and you're going to see a LOT of cool cars at a world renown spot...
About 9:30-10:00pm lots of us F-body guys cruise in and are there until at least 12am (then we go eat somewhere
