Update: SoCalMuscle Car Club New IE Chapter now in effect. Hey all:
Well I have been in SoCalMuscle for a year or so now. Luis and I have been talking about starting a IE chapter which is alot closer for me. I will be starting it and looking for 1-2 people to help me run it.
I am looking into locations right now and would like some input on places and days and time. This would be a monthly meet and we would also have events after the meet. I might even start up teh raffles again also. We will also meet up with the SD Chapter once every other month or every 3 months to have a huge get together. This will be our 3rd chapter. Its a awesome club with great members and cars.

For example, I don't remember all the details, but the Pool Hall in San Berdo would give drink discounts and your own area upstairs with waitress. The only exception was Fri. and Sat. nights, depending on the time. Now, Saturday before nightfall and all day Sunday would work just fine, along with weekdays.
For ***** and giggles, I also inquired at a strip club in the area.
But that's not everyone's thing.If you want, I can call up the owner again for more detail, more discounts (free pool, cheaper food, etc.) or any other business if you're interested.

Also, I come from the school of thought that if you bring business to a place, you should get compensated in some way.
Example: food/bev discounts, even if it's a fast food place. If they can't do that, bring your business elsewhere. Especially in this economy
Even the In N Out you use to go to could have provided you with some raffle prizes (Double Doubles or combo meals). Don't know if they did, I'm just saying.
Also, we're the target demographic for many advertisers.

It's nice to see that Ken is getting this going. his a good guy, very knowledgeable in the automotive field.SCM has been around for a lil over 5 years now.Its become a close family as you all know. Like ken said we have monthly meets/gtg's and then cruise or do something fun after.I would encourage everyone who is serious about being in a car club to join this fun experience.with that said.First thing first.

We need a good location.Maybe a place or a shopping center where food is available at a low price. keep in mind most people don't like expensive dine ins.We also need this location to have good exposure. make sure its in a busy area that way the crowds start to notice you all.Once you get people's attention you'll notice that they will soon spread the word that a Car cub meets there.I'll make a SCM I.E section in our forum feel free to post up info there.once again here's the link to our site.

Sounds cool... I'll have to check it out...
I vote TEMECULA as well
with it's growth, it has more than enough restaurants and parking locations. And of course the mall area is prime...
little car hops like In-N-Out, 5 and Diner, etc...
and of course CMS is nearby as well, in case we ever wanna do like a dyno day or something...
