if u could buy a direct tv reciever off the streets and have it hooked up to ur account cuz there giving me a hd/dvr i have a regular one right now but we do have the hd plan my bro has the hd one in his room any help would be nice

All you need is to have them send a new card and then have it activated. I Don't think that they will give you a hard time, but call em up and ask.
