Default Need a 9" center section or a 10 bolt

I'm trying to locate a vibration I picked up when I put my moser 9" in. If anyone has an extra 9" center section that takes 31 spline axles, I'd like to swap it with my center section just to see if the vibration goes away, wouldn't even leave the driveway. Also if anyone has an extra 10 bolt laying around I'd like to swap my rear out just to test that also. I wouldnt even be leaving the driveway, so I'd only need to borrow them for the weekend. Will come pick them up of course. Somebody help me out!

I pulled the axles and had them checked for straightness, they checked out good.

I have adjustable control arms, so I pulled the rear end closer to the transmission to make up for it being a little too short. I have about 1" of the driveshaft showing out of the back of the transmission, so I have that covered too . Like I said I've already gone through everything haha.

if thats the case your ds is definitely too short and it is causing vibration. didnt you order the pst shaft for your 9"? EPP sent me a stock length shaft, i had to pay for shipping back, but they sent me a 1" longer shaft the next week.

By moving the rear axle forward 1" it made the driveshaft the perfect length. Unless moving the rear axle forward for some reason would cause a vibration that I am unaware of?

Its for an M6, but it has a viper tailshaft upgrade. I am in santa clarita, near magic mountain.

Well I bought the driveshaft about a year and a half ago so I think it may be a little late to ship it back to EPP for a swap haha.

give it a shot, mine was about a year since i was in iraq and they asked no questions, i didnt have an invoice, order number anything. bc i swore at the time they told me a moser 9" takes a stock length shaft. mine ended up a little more that 1" longer bc i have 28" tires and had to move the rearend back to clear the front of the wheelwell.

Hm interesting, I will give them a call tomorrow because the last possible thing I could check was the driveshaft. Thanks for the advice.
