Default So Cal emissions help

So Im fairly new to California and was wondering if anyone knows any " Hotrod friendly" smog check shops in So Cal or other ideas to get around them. i've heard i should get a P.O. box in a no smog town but im not sure if it's worth the trouble. Pm me if any one knows anything or any place i don't.

Thanks

If you go to a pass or dont pay shop they are very lenient. I think it might depend on how much of a 'Hot Rod' you have.

Who are you? lets see some pics of your car and what is done to your car that makes it illegal? Also what part of the E.P.A. do you work for?

Free bump for this guy. I picked up my replacement transmission (that works great) from his house. The trans was from the '00 Z28 that he ended up buying. He seems legit.

Car has been sitting in his garage in pieces with a huge layer of dust on it - no reason to get it smogged until it's off non-op... lol
