Me too!

If you have traction control cables though there is one that is the proper length to be shortened to be used as a throttle cable.

How did you cut the metal sleeve in the cable?

SRJ did the modification. Pretty sure he shortened it at that little black box thing above the intake manifold in the pic above.

my brothers cable broke a while back and i just used a bicycle break cable and cut it to the length i needed. has worked great since.

You can modify the TCS mid line to be used as a throttle cable. I did that to Zex's ride and it worked great.

I was gonna try and shorten it but didn't know how to cut the sleeve without cutting the cable. My snips didn't cut for ****

I used a razor blade and cut little sections at a time of the hard plastic sleeve inside the adjustment box. Then made a slit down the middle and removed each section.
