Default Tire installation

Anyone have a hookup with a tire installer who can deal with 315's? I need a pair of 315's mounted and balanced and every place I have been to or called either can't deal with a tire that big, or is charging $60+ for a mount and balance. Anywhere in the LA/Downtown/Pasadena area would be good.

The places I have called have said that they don't have the "equipment" to handle installing a tire that big.

Any place that services big offroad truck tires should be able to handle a wide car tire.

have tried any americas tire? Or les schwab? They both deal in tires on 4x4 pick ups that are up to 395 or 14.5 wide... And deal with 315's a lot! They are usually just 315's for 4x4s LOL

Ive never had a problem, ive always either gone to goodyear or firestone. Each place runs about $20 a tire or a hair more.

I tried the Goodyear right up the street from me and got the "we don't have the equipment" line.

Another member here has a place up in Sun Valley, I'll give that a whirl.

yup. When i worked at the tire shop i was puttin 185 tires on 14" rims for a geo on the same machine i was putting 36 and 37x14.50 tires on for 4x4s. Bunch of lazy bums. Install should be cheap, but they will charge you for balancing since you didnt get the tires from them. America's would usually charge me about $35-$45 a wheel/tire for what your looking for.
