Hey ya'll, looks like I'll be attending some training for work in SLC next week.

I'll be flying out on Sunday 11/22 and returning Wednesday 11/25.

I've already got a good idea of what flight I'll be taking but I'd like to know which hotel would be nice to stay at.

I'll have a rent a car so I'll be able to go around and see what SLC has to offer.

Please let me know of all the good places to eat & see.

I was thinking of staying at the Little America Hotel Downtown.
Its about a 10 min drive to where I'll be training (3.8mi).

Are there any good restaurants or places of interest that'll be cool to visit?

I stayed at a Courtyard about 7 miles from downtown, it was nice. The bar I went to (Poplar bar) had great drinks specials, for being a downtown bar in a dry state during the World Series. Didn't try the food.

Didn't get the best vibe at Iggy's Sports Bar, plus no drink specials.

yeah donovans is good. port o call was a great bar in down town slc but they shut it down, i havent lived here in about 6 years so im still figureing out whats here and whats not. the sky bar was pretty cool, dunno if it still is
