Default Reputable Transmission shop San Diego

Hey guys, does anyone know of a reputable transmission shop in or around San Diego who rebuilts t56's???

I know CMS is fairly close, but am looking for something closer.
please help, i have had this question for a long time. Its funny that San Diego is such a big city, yet lacks good shops for these cars.

Thanks!

Dude, he knows about CMS but wants something in his city. Wish I could help. I would have at least tried to answer what you were asking.

Excelsior Motorsports. I know that they do alot of Corvette work there. Maybe they will guide you to the right direction.

Call Total Performance in El Cajon...

All you really need is basic hand tools and a jack and a pair of jackstands. It helps to have (2) 10" swivel head extensions to reach the top two bolts of the trans. Otherwise you can use a bunch of 3" and 6" extesions.
