I prefer OEM because of quality and fitment.

Yes I know, I've seen a few clean black OEM WS6 hoods here on LS1Tech.
The problem is usually the shipping for most out of state sellers.

There are deals out there. My brother picked up an OEM Black WS6 hood w/ bad clear coat for $360 on c-list last week.

harwood ws6 hoods= garbage
trust me
your best bet by far is trufiber

It seems any after market hood, once you pay to have it painted and prepped it ends up costing about the same as a black OEM.

I've seen OEMs on the classifieds here from $600 to $900.

That's cool, the Truefiber's I've seen look like they fit good.
Plus they have the extra vents.

got a 01 ws6 theft recovery car coming friday ill let u know when i get it. located in inglewood ca, i have lots of parts for camaros and trans-ams 93-02 also some parts for firebirds! i'll let u know bearcatt

i bought a ws9 truefiber hood for 200 bucks i didnt have to adjust **** it fit perfect looks sexy as hell too
