Default Redwoods - Drive-thru tree - CRUISE!!!

Hey has anyone heard of this place: http://www.drivethrutree.com/

Well my other club is cruising there on May 1st...it'll be a long day up and back but we're planning plenty of stops and some pics of the cars coming through the tree.

If you'd like to join us, here's the link to the details as of now, feel free to register: http://thethinbluefinishline.com/index.php?topic=407.0

When we have the trip completely finalized (meet location, stops, etc) I'll post up here as well. If you want to have some input register with the above link and share your ideas!

Hmm didnt know there was a replica of the drive-thru redwood from Sequoia NP. I've been to that one but they closed it to traffic back in the 80's.

I was there about 10 years ago. That tree isn't to big. Some very cool roads near by!

Well, I haven't seen a single redwood/sequoia tree since I've been here (4 years) so it will be huge to me I'm sure. The route oughta be a blast, looks like plenty of twisties on the way.

Yea, we'll definitely be playon it cool on the trip. Nit a big fan of screwing around on the road. Besides, the club were doing it with is founded and operated by Law Enforcement folks, so bad behavior on the road is frowned upon you might say.
