Default Hey guys, new guy with a 97 Camaro

Thought I would introduce myself here in the local area. I picked up a 97 Camaro that turned into restoring lol I planned on throwing a LS3 in it, but changed my mind to drop in the LSX454 GM crate motor.

When I picked it up...

looks like an LS1 front.

im excited to see this build completed. that looks like a lot of cheese spent.

why did you retain the LT1 front calipers? i would imagine that theres a better setup available (ie drag setup).

The color is dark shadow gray, and yes its the SS front end. I didnt want to put drag brakes on the car since its a street car.

Even LS1 calipers would have been an upgrade.

Can you give some details on your fuel system?

BTW, you're gonna have to get a new screen name, lol.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I have a '97 SS. I am going to be putting a Procharged LS3 into my car soon.

As long as you are cuting, might as well mini tub it so you can run some 355's.
