November 6th Famoso TNT....Who's Going??????? November 6th and 7th Famoso Dragstrip in Bakersfield is having its last Test and Tune of 2010. Gates open at 8 A.M. Im going down on the 6th and was planning on being there for the gates. If anyone is going or wants to drive down there it would be cool to meet up or hang out while we are there. So who's going???????????? I met a a member from tech last time I went, he was from Lancaster I believe, Black LS1 that was down for a procharger build if I remember correctly.

If it is $50 it's gone way up. Last time I went in May it was $20 to run your car and $15 to spectate. Bikes are like $45 or someting. I doubt it's more than doubled or at least I hope so. If anyone knows how much it costs for sure please chime in.

We will be there with about a dozen cars going (alot of customer builds etc) on sunday.
Past experience on the sat/sun test'n'tunes: Saturdays are always really packed, sundays you get alot more runs in.
Also in the past they make you pay for both sat & sunday to race because so many people are camping /staying out there all weekend....

Thanks for the heads up. Sucks I probably won't see your cars there since your going on Sunday. Saturday is a much better fit for my schedule or else I would go on Sunday. I figure if I get there early enough Saturday morning I'll get more runs in while people are going through tech. Hope I can pay for Sat only as well. Thanks for posting. If you are there on Saturday, I'll keep an eye out for you in case I break something and I need it fixed, haha. Best of Luck with your cars

I was out there with my race car. Saw a few camaros there, and I think your car also. Sorry I couldnt introduce myself to you... taking the car out is like babysitting.

My buddy took a video of that run on his droid. It was from up in the stands. I'll see if we can get it online and we can find a way to get it to you. If you know an easy way for us to send you the vid let me know.
