With my garage filled and no room to do basic maintenance, I'd pay twice that.

The Hobby Shop at Camp Pendleton is nice. I've been there three times to do installs. Now I share a shop to do all my work. Having space, a lift, and air tools is a necessity for me.

I'm all for it but doesn't this **** with your insurance (business license ins.)? .. The chances of someone get'n hurt goes through the roof. .. I can see some asshat slip on some tranny fluid and bounce his scull off a lift. ... Just say'n

I'm sure that's the biggest deterrent, and very little margin.

I live on Camp Pendleton right down the road from the Auto Hobby. Its very nice, a flat stall is $7 per Day. Lifts are $6 per Hr. The only thing I dont like is the Machine shop pricing. To use the welder/torches its $12 Hr, 1 Hr minimum. So even if you just tack something its still 12... its 7 per bearing/bushing/balljoint to be pressed as well.
