Default Question for you CA members

So I plan on moving to CA once I graduate, the problem I'm having is I need to replace my cats because the stock ones are going bad. I know CA pretty much hates you if you drive anything and are emissions *****; so the question I have for all of you is what do you guys with an after market setup use that allows you to still pass emissions?
