MY friend is looking at a 98 ford explore wit 95000. Miles for 3000.00 what are common problems wit these cars? And is it worth that?? It looks great..but idk much about these cars..so plz any help is great

5r55e trans are the common problem with those, other than bein a ford product and rollovers haha. Everything else is pretty stout in those. If it's super clean I'd say it's worth a little less considering my buddys girl picked up a 97 4x4 with 130000 super clean for 3000. Tell him to offer 2500.

They r ok I work at Ford an only problem we get especially in accidents is transmission for some reason it always gets messed up or doesn't shift that good an seats r uncomfortable as hell.

But for 3k Its ok. Like he said offer 2500 atleast get it at 2800 lol
