Default Will a hood fit..

In the back seat of my Camaro?? Its the only car I have right now and for the price I can't pass it up... So my question is will a 98-02 hood fit in my trunk?? Thanks

yes it will, take some sheets to prevent scratches n take a rope or something to tie the hatch down. i had my hood delivered to me by a friend on his lt1 t/a

if you take out the passenger rear panel and the spare tire, it will fit with the hatch shut..... ask me how i know

Just take off ur old hood grab the hinges and bolts and put the other one on when u get there haha

Put your hood on top of your car, you and your passenger hold on real tight. That's how I did it.

I fit my stock hood in my car. But it made a tiny outward dimple in the quarter panel from the corner that would normally sit closest to the windshield. LOL. nothing paintless dent removal can't fix. Nobody has ever noticed it aside from me, so I don't bother mentioning it. If you pack it good enough and bring cardboard/foam for padding it shouldn't be a problem.

The last time i sold a hood I advised the guy to just remove his hood and drive over like that. I helped him install the hood when he got to my place.

i did the same thing one time with a ta hatch, drove about 90 minutes with no hatch on a nice sunny day, lots of exhaust in the car on that drive

I'll say yes, because I've done it, but I've got a 'Vert though; it still wasn't an easy fit. On top of that, I had to ride "under" the hood in the back seat and hold it in the car as a friend drove the car home. There were quite a few times where the winds kept pulling up on the hood-I was sure the hood was going to fly out lol...
